This series came about at a time in my life where I was thinking a lot about myself in terms of style, organization, friends, ect. A very transitional time. While also being extremely stressed at school. I decided to create a documentary of coupled photos. This gave me the ability to analyze my life while I create something to turn in for midterms. Each thing is something about myself; places I’ve been, bags I bought in Asia, the status of my technology, money I’ve saved. It gave me a chance to document myself at this particular point in time and do a full analysis on who I am and who I want to be. Interestingly, in critique I got some particular notes that said it’s very editorial. Similar to Acne Studios campaign shots. Interesting how my passion for commercial art translates even when I’m not trying.
