Hailing from Manila, Philippines where he first graduated with a major in Multimedia Arts in De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde, Darren Apolonio has since travelled to the United Kingdom, Tokyo and Hong Kong where he developed a strong sense of identity that pushed his creative spirit outside the realm of visual arts, new media & fashion. Known for pushing boundaries with his eclectic personality and bold aesthetics, Darren is currently based in the United States, finishing up his second bachelor’s degree in fashion in Savannah College of Art & Design.
WILDCARD is an ode and a celebration to the quintessential rockstar spirit. And on a personal note, the designer’s love letter: to all the unapologetically campy and absurdly colorful people he has met over the past decade in numerous corners of the world.
